An Android app built around one problem: helping a driver find a CNG station nearby and judge whether it is worth the trip, using recent driver- and operator-confirmed availability rather than a general-purpose listing that cannot say whether the pump is working today.
CNG Nearby is not released yet. It is not on any app store, and there is nothing to download from this page. If you want to hear when it is available, tell us and we will get in touch.
A general map can tell you a CNG station exists. It cannot tell you whether it has gas today, whether the queue is an hour long, or whether the last person who drove there turned around. For a driver deciding between two stations in opposite directions, that is the only question that matters.
The design problem is trust: crowd-sourced status is only useful if you can tell a fresh, credible report from a stale or careless one. Four rules do most of that work.
A status can be submitted only from within a short distance of the station, with a GPS fix accurate enough to trust. It is a report from the forecourt, not a guess from across town.
A confirmation from ten minutes ago counts for more than one from an hour ago, and a registered station operator counts for more than a passing driver. Where reports disagree, the conservative answer wins.
Every status has a shelf life and lapses back to unknown rather than ageing quietly into a wrong answer. "We do not know" is a legitimate thing for the app to say.
Stations are seeded from OpenStreetMap and refined from there, with mapping and search that do not depend on a proprietary maps contract.

Building CNG Nearby means owning the whole chain end to end: location services, mapping, a mobile app, backend infrastructure, product decisions and release. It is the same work we do for clients - with nobody else to hand the difficult parts to.
